چکیده

ABSTRACT Introduction: HIV/AIDS is considered one of the great cases public health, but it seen that patients who use antiretroviral therapy (ART) and practice strength training promote a promotion their health. Objectives: Assess impact resistance on cytokines body composition in people living with HIV/AIDS. Methods: Randomized clinical trial, sample consisted 12 patients, 7 from Strength Group (GF) 5 2, Muscular Resistance (MGR). We compared levels IL-2, IL-4, IL-6, IL-10 TNF-α first last sessions. The completed 36 sessions over weeks. Results: After GRM training, there was significant increase 4,734 pg/mL to 5,050 (p=0.002). Regarding GFR, no results were found. For composition, differences GFR due lean mass arms 6,441g 7,014g (p=0.04), legs 16,379g 17,281g (p=0.02) whole 45,640g 47,343g (p=0.01). In G2 decrease percentage fat 23,160% 20,750% (p = 0.04). To assess quality life, WHOQOL-HIV-Bref questionnaire used, where improvement found all domains, except for level independence domain. Conclusion: conclude muscular effective increasing decreasing arms, whereas increases legs, body. Level Evidence I; Clinical Trial.
